Welcome to Your Home Away From Home with Barb & Dennis

We’re Barb and Dennis Dumont, and we’ve proudly called Libby, Montana our home since 1990. Dennis is a retired business owner, and Barb is a retired registered nurse. We built our cozy log home in 1991, nestled on five serene acres of wooded land with the beautiful Pipe Creek running through it. Our property is visited regularly by deer, turkeys, eagles, and osprey, adding to the natural charm we love to share with our guests. Our mission is simple: to make sure your stay is as enjoyable and relaxing as possible.

Each morning, we start your day with a delicious breakfast that includes fresh fruit and a variety of entrées. You might enjoy dishes like orange pecan 9-grain French toast drizzled with real maple syrup, roasted thyme tomatoes over poached eggs, an Italian sausage frittata, or hearty baked oatmeal. We also serve thick-cut bacon, glazed ham, or sausage alongside home-baked specialty breads such as lemon or huckleberry. Freshly squeezed juice, coffee or espresso cappuccino, and a selection of teas complete your breakfast experience.

In the afternoons, we offer complimentary hors d’oeuvres and a refreshing beverage for you to enjoy. For those looking to add a special touch to their evenings, Dennis is happy to prepare our outdoor wood-burning oven so you can enjoy the experience of cooking your own dinner.
