Libby, Montana has so much to offer for our guests.
Some of the areas to explore are the Kootenai and Yaak Falls, Ross Creek Cedars, Libby Dam, and walking a nearby trail along the Kootenai River to observe Bighorn sheep and other wildlife. The Cabinet View Golf Course in Libby offers 18 holes of golf overlooking the mountains. The Heritage Museum has displays on early mining, logging and settlement history around Libby. In the winter, you can enjoy the outdoors with cross-country and downhill skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling and ice fishing. Turner Mountain Ski Area is approximately 21 miles north of Libby.
Libby also has many festivities and concerts year-round, including STOKR bike ride in May, Logger Days in June, Kootenai River Rodeo in July, and the Bluegrass Festival and Ignite the Nites Car Show in August. Check with us or with the Libby Chamber of Commerce for area activities occurring around the time of your planned visit.
Winter Recreation
The B&B is just 17 miles from Turner Mountain Ski area, and the Kootenai National Forest for snowmobiling and cross-country skiing.
Summer Recreation
The B&B is located near the Kootenai National Forest for summer recreation: camping, hiking, backpacking, and fishing. Lake Koocanusa offers outstanding boating and fishing opportunities.
